About the Experience & Wild Hunt
Truffle hunting is inherently an outdoor sport. We operate rain, shine, sun, and snow. For part of this adventure, you will be outdoors, in the elements, whatever they may be. During the wild portion of our hunt, you will be in the forest walking over uneven terrain.
If you have concerns about this, or mobility issues, please contact us prior to booking. Moderate walking/hiking ability is advised for this portion of the experience, and sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended.
BIO SECURITY
For Biosecurity reasons, please bring a change of shoes/ boots to wear on the Truffle Orchard/ Farmhouse, that are not being worn out in the forest. Both locations may be muddy, but better traction shoes (ie hiking boots) are more suitable for the forest.
About the Truffière
Cartwright Truffière, nestled in the Willamette Valley, is one of the most productive truffle Orchards in the US, ranked #1 or #2 by volume for Perigord truffle (Tuber melanosporum). This is a very rare and special occasion we are excited to share with you, our community!
Accommodations
Accommodations are not included in this experience, however, we do have recommendations.
