About Hannah Libby

Originally from Vermont, Hannah graduated from the Immersion at Wilderness Awareness School in 2015, where she is now a lead instructor.  Before heading out to the Pacific Northwest she acquired her BA in Restoration Ecology & Conservation Biology with two minors in Astrobiology and Marine Science. For her final thesis, she designed and implemented a Forest Stewardship program providing paid work-study positions for students interested in pursuing passions and studies in the natural world. Hannah has been a Nature Guide and Survival Skills Educator for the last 10 years.  Deeply in love with the arts, she has been drawing, taking photos, and making jewelry as long as she has known she has had hands! She also recently became certified as a Natural Science Illustrator.
