January 3, 2014 at 10:13 pm #1147MattParticipantHello,
Cheyenne and i are really excited for this class. Cheyenne is a 10 year old Australian Shepherd and we both participate in agility events throughout the year. In the past i have hunted for morel mushrooms and had considered training Cheyenne to help me hunt for them. I love truffles much more and cannot wait to go hunting!
Today i visited pike place market and bought my truffle oil and several white truffles for training. Once i have my list i’ll share my tools of training with you.

January 8, 2014 at 4:32 pm #1171Alana McGeeKeymasterHow is training going, Matt? Do you have video for us to review?
January 8, 2014 at 8:13 pm #1172MattParticipantI just finished gathering all of my materials and i am practicing my clicker training. Jeanne is the clickmaster in our house so i need a bit of work polishing my timing. I will be shooting a video this weekend so you should see it Sunday night.
January 9, 2014 at 1:34 pm #1173Alana McGeeKeymasterGreat! Looking forward to it 🙂

Your quiz is graded. You can view instructor comments by hovering over the grade.
Looking forward to your video!

February 6, 2014 at 5:50 pm #1307Alana McGeeKeymasterThe supplies look awesome Matt! Very excited to see that. As an instructor, we LOVE seeing what students are using. 🙂
You Quiz 2 is ready to be graded, but if you can, we would really like to see even a short clip of you and Cheyenne working (cell phone 1st person works, even like 10 seconds) so we can start to get a good read on your relationship and working style for when you do have questions. It is ideal for us as instructors to be able to help you to the best of our ability to see you working from the beginning. Baselines and all.
Let us know.
February 24, 2014 at 8:30 pm #1377MattParticipantGood evening,
I haven’t had much time to access the internet over the last two weeks. My training is progressing and i’ll be making a video tonight or tomorrow. Cheyenne has figured out the point of our training and is getting good at easy box hides and we are moving to more advanced hides.
Currently i do training at night and sometimes a small training session in the morning before we leave for the day.
We have not developed an alert yet. I am hoping that with the more advanced hides she will start to mark an alert for me to shape.
Thanks~!
February 24, 2014 at 9:29 pm #1383Alana McGeeKeymasterKeep it up, she may offer something, or you may want to suggest one. So consider what you would like her to do in a chain of events if her current alert is subtle. Alerts evolve and can always be built upon.
Looking forward to the video.
February 25, 2014 at 9:21 pm #1387MattParticipantWell i took my videos but i think i am technology impaired as i can’t figure out how to post them here. i’ll keep working on it.
