September 5, 2014 at 11:10 am #2722Alana McGeeKeymasterHi Denise. We just wanted to let you know that we are teaching a seminar this weekend (Sept. 6-7) and will not be checking into the classroom during that time. We will resume commenting next week so if you post anything, please be patient and know that we will respond as soon as we are back.

September 10, 2014 at 7:44 am #2761DeniseParticipantHi Kristin,
I am here! Just busy with non-truffle training stuff :((( – I am heading down to Santa Cruz for a long weekend and will be working with Elle. I will post a video at end of weekend!
Thanks!
Denise and ElleSeptember 16, 2014 at 8:47 am #2792DeniseParticipantHi!
I have uploaded a video of Elle this past weekend working an outdoor search. It was a very hot weekend and I had worked 2 previous hides with her earlier in the day. So Elle was tired during this search which is good so you can see how she acts. The previous hides she nailed easily and were done in the same area as this video.
Also wanted to ask if you will be doing any training sessions during the Eugene truffle festival this January as we would love to come up and meet you guys and have Elle work in a real truffle forest setting!
Thanks!

We have graded your Quiz so you should be able to jump on to the next lesson.
(I am about to jump on a plane – this is alana- so I will watch you video momentarily and get the feedback to you as soon as the internet re-establishes.
As for Eugene: We will likely have a presence at the Oregon Truffle festival (some our contractors or myself will be about the vicinity) but we are not the instructors affiliated with festival. If you plan on being up in the area however we most certainly can set up a lesson in a producing forest nearby for field experience! We would love to meet you in person. You can always come up any time and we would be happy to work with you in forested settings. We have locations in Oregon & Washington we can take students to for practice in wild environments, as well as we are currently securing other sites in California.
The festival is great, and a fun culinary experience. The training programs run at the festival are introductory and you and Elle are already performing more complicated hides.

We will be at the Napa Truffle festival likely the weekend before Eugene. and can always set something up slightly closer to your home as well….
More momentarily!

September 29, 2014 at 6:32 pm #2819Alana McGeeKeymasterLet us know how it is going Denise.
We are also in the process of putting together some other forums on other pertinent truffle info you may find interesting and they should be available and accessible soon! Just have to make sure they show up in the right places. Everything from kinds of truffles, to how to store them etc, so If you have questions, let us know and we will make sure that something gets put up about it!
