Hello Bev, thanks for your nice words here and in the other thread. Our trip to Canada was fantastic. I’d never been to Winnipeg before, and the people there truly lived up to their province’s license plates: “Friendly Manitoba!” Camped out at Birds Hill park; enjoyed it immensely. Spent a day sightseeing in the city. And of course caught two sessions of games, with the big events for us being the U.S.-Sweden game and the Germany-Thailand game. (Our family lived in Germany for seven months, and the two friends who were with me and my daughters are Germans themselves.)
Can’t wait to get back. Many of us Minnesotans are Canadian wannabes anyway!
