Yes, it is TOTALLY possibly a truffle area. In fact, 100% positive some kind of truffles in that area. Likley not dense, but yes. They are a main staple in fall/winter for squirrels/ small rodents. Fir, subalpine, pine, spruce etc.
I see Doug fir. Different species form on lodgepole.

So don’t rule it out. Now are they an edible species is a different matter- but it is totally possible, yes.
